Carl Zeiss Jena Jenoptem 10x50W binoculars serial number 4329539. This is a pair of genuine East German Zeiss binoculars marked “Made in DDR” and with the correct 7 digit serial number. They were manufactured in 1975 but have hardly ever been used and still look like new. They have no optical or mechanical defects and are absolutely crystal clear internally with no fungus, haze or dust and view beautifully. The paintwork is excellent and all original, not re-touched or repainted at all There are one or two tiny areas of paint loss where it has flaked off due to age ( for example on the central bridge) and a couple of small scuff marks on the objective surrounds. Other than that, they are totally pristine and original. Probably one of the very best remaining Jenoptem 10×50’s available. Sold with case, also in fine condition, case strap and black leather binocular lanyard. The binoculars will be carefully packed in a well-padded box and sent fully insured.
