Wonderful 1918 Ross (MILL HILL) Wartime binoculars ,with Reticle (range finder scale). Webbing strap, Original Leather case with belt loops. Military Crows Feet stamp. Solid Brass with a superb Patina and very little paint wear.(Please examine the actual photographs).Virtually undamaged eyecups , individual eyepiece focusing, (Very Smooth).They have some marks and paint wear ,hardly surprising after nearly 100 years and 2 World wars !
Superb Collectors Leather case is marked Watson and sons established 1837 ! ,313 High Holborn ,London. Although it has a little wear It is still highly useable and the strap is strong. Buckle is perfect .Highly collectable leather, craftsman made case.(Please examine the actual pictures)
Highly useable Ross small prism binoculars ,light and very clean internally,with only a couple of very minute dust specks on the reticle side. Internal Glass and Prisms are undamaged and very clean.. Perfect collimation , no eye strain..I have been using them to watch the squirrels antics in the garden, very amusing! Any Buyer not happy with the view can have his money back, no question.
