Carl ZEISS Jena DDR JENOPTEM 10x50W Mulit-Coated BINOCULARS 10 x 50 + Genuine Leather Case (with issues, read below) The image quality of the ZEISS binoculars is simply breath-taking! The image plasticity and its another depth make the view like something totally different than our eyes are used to. I have tried many brands, but it sees that ZEISS & Leica among the vintage binoculars have NO match!!! In Good+ Used Condition!In Working Order! Glasses do show internal contamination, left ocular is a bit out of focus due to this, but right one is focusing sharply.This particular auction will most likely appeal to a collector, as these are VINTAGE, iconic binoculars.Comparing them to the best mid-size user Jenoptem 8×30, the view is about 25% worse due to the contamination. The leather case is in great condition, but the shoulder strap is broken. The rotating focus setting wheel operates smoothly.
Both the case and binoculars have been engraved most likely by the ex-owner initials.
