For bid is a WW 1-2 warship sighting scope made by Heath & Son. Crayford London. Inscribed on the first draw. This scope is a one draw scope that needs some TAlC to bring it back to condition, the leather stitching has come apart as the cotton has rotted probably due to the salt water over its life at sea. The optics look good the shade draws as it should. There is a factory made braced fitted to the scope to fit on a swivel base on the ship. Not sure if it can be removed to mend the leather,, it will have to be drilled off then fix leather and re fit it using pop rivets. Look carefully at pics… it came from Australia, size approx,,, Fully drawn open with shade,,26? Fully open with shade closed,,,24?.
