Made by respected British (Scottish) maker Barr and Stroud, – renowned for their military wartime and civilian optics..with working Barr and Stroud red velour lined leather case and straps. Unmarked externally without cracks scratches dents marks or damage..Coated Lenses are absolutely clean Internal optics are very clean having No Fungus or Chips, or any damage at all. (Please examine the photographs) Correctly collimated, No eyestrain
Centre hinge ,Centre focus and right eyepiece adjustment is smooth,easy to turn and correct .(Please examine all 12 pictures)
Barr and Stroud Leather case is lined internally with faded red velour and has the “Lizars Optician Aberdeen” monogram inside the lid. Adjustable shoulder Strap is still strong although it shows signs of wear ..Hinge works and Lid catch works also ,although it has a had a repair. The carry strap on the lid is still strong. (Please examine all 12 pictures) .
The case is tatty but it works and protects the binoculars ..(Please examine all 12 pictures) .
