Works fine, except the compass which does not work, but does not distract because it displays only a black rectangle at the top of the right side, which also has the graticule cross across the field (with the usual fine specks on it). The rubber eyecups have been cut down to suit the military user & avoid these getting in the way. The padded case has a belt loop on the back & is extremely lightweight, only 79 grams! The field of view is 130 mils, usefully wider than the narrower 124 mils of the Zeiss Safari model.
Both are of similarly robust construction with thick protective rubber armouring.
