Focusing works smoothly.The build quality of these classic bins is fantastic. There are not so many of these around, theyrenowhere near as common as their highly regarded big brother Audubons, but in myview are every bit as good. These binoculars have a very similar constructionand view to the classic Audubons but are smaller and lighter.The leathercase is sound and in generally good condition, but does have a few marks andscuffs. There are leather straps for both the case and the binoculars. All fouroriginal lens caps are present.
