A superb example purchased new (ex-demo) from LCE Guildford on 28/9/18 so 8 years of the warranty is left and it is fully transferable to a new owner through online registration. They have been lightly used with no marks to the glass or body except for the very slightest wear to the lower bending bar (visible on the first photo). They come complete with the original box and all of the accessories. The strap is unused and the eyecups are the very latest variant introduced last year with a softer feel. The collimation is perfect, the focus smooth and they are bitingly sharp. The purchase receipt and proof of product registration will be provided. A unique feature of this binocular is its superb balance in the hand because the weight is distributed away from the objectives. Consequently, they are easier to hold steady for longer periods.
As a ‘demo’ pair, they had never left the shop and had been designated ‘demo’ by Zeiss in very small lettering on the side of each eyepiece. This is shown clearly in the close-up photograph 4. Subsequently, they were released for general sale by Zeiss. I took the view that, as an official ‘demo’ pair they would have been chosen by Zeiss as an excellent example (‘a cherry’) and I have not been disappointed.
