Celestron SP-C102 Acromatic Refractor with Glass Solar Filter.
Excellent Celestron SP-C102 telescope from the 1980’s era made in Japan for Celestron by Vixen.
A high quality all aluminium / metal acromatic refractor which I have used for many years visual observing.
No plastic’s here, it does have a few bits of dust to the inside of the objective but this does not detract from the quality of the image.
The objective could be cleaned by brush but I have not taken it apart.
Always kept indoors the optics have no sign of fungus
A few scratches and paint chips in places which is to be expected of a telescope of this age.
It also comes with a glass solar filter which gives great views of the sun.
As is usual with solar viewing great care must be taken and I cannot be held responsible for any injury.
IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING DO NOT VIEW THE SUN.
It comes with 6x finderscope, 1 1/4 star diagonal and Vixen dovetail mounting rail.
Pick up only due to weight and size.
