Here we have a custom designed 3d Printed Camera mount for Alt/Az telescope mounts with a side mounted dovetail I.E Celestron’s, skywatchers etc
I have tested with up to a 600mm lens and a 300mm F2.8 and there are no problems holding the weight. There is a hole to allow for a dummy battery lead for power too. These are printed in high quality PLA and have a textured finish to aid grip.
This has been designed mainly for the Sony A7 series but pretty much any camera can be used. Ideal for doing Lunar photography or Astrophotography with an alt-azimuth mount. Don’t be put off by people telling you you need an EQ mount, you can still do Astrophotography with an Alt/Az mount.
This is a custom made product and will be printed to order
You are buying the 3d Printed mount only, nothing else in the photo’s is included.
You will need a 1/4 20 screw to mount the Camera to it.
