WWII ERA GERMAN MILITARY PATTERN 6 x 30 BINOCULARS.
Lightweight version,mainly Aluminium Construction, weighing 405.0 gms.
* Conforming perfectly to the WWII German Wehrmacht 6×30 Model made by numerous Manufacturers, showing no Makers Mark or 3 Letter Code etc, for some reason many examples were not marked at this time.*
* It is widely debated as to whether this variant dates to very late WWII or just immediately after, generally considered to be made by Voigtlander or possibly Swarovski, * please come to your own conclusions.*
* No Serial Number.*
Internally with only very minor dust, they work and focus very well, the image in use is clean and clear, nothing detrimental is visible in use.Both Oculars operate firmly.Both Grub Screw Cover Rings are missing, not a serious issue but worth a mention.
There is no double imaging, collimation is good.
* No internal Fungus or Mould.*
All Lenses are in good order, they show only * very light * wear, no bad scratches, no cracks or chips, all firmly seated.
No internal damage or rattles when shaken.
Externally with only minor patina of age and use.
Body Coatings all stable and intact.
Bakelite Eye-cups all in good order.
No major damage or structural issues throughout
Central Pivot moves firmly and smoothly with no slack, cracks or other issues.
