A Scope of Some Sort + 4 x Hoya Lenses
This is a barn find item but seems far too good to throw away
In the quite grubby and rusty case there are 4 X Hoya Lenses ( 2 x +1 Magnification & 2 x +4 Magnification)Also a Scope which as a lens either end, a battery compartment, mains power socket and a on / off switch.
I have placed a battery in it and turned it on and it does work eventually,there is also a aperture for a power supply.I have plugged in a power supply and strangely it came straight on even though the switch was off(please see photos of leaves with and without looking through scope)sorry but quality of photo looking through scope not too good.
My belief is it maybe some sort of maritime item as on the lid of the case it saysTrinity House Lighthouse services.
Please be aware the case is grubby and rusty and there are marks and rusty screws on the scope,But the Hoya lenses seem to be OK.
Please check out condition with enlarged photos before considering a bid.
To sum up I don’t know what it’s used for or even if it’s working correctly,but with no reserve I’m hoping it’s of value to someoneGood luck if you’re bidding.
