Welcome to my auction for this rare pair of opera glasses Really unusual and a rare find Made by Hugo Wolf so in their day they were top of the range (engraved to the eye pieces) Stunning quality and still in their original matching velvet bag which is very time worn and most of the velvet has worn away but its nice to be there The handle is detachable and extends for comfort The body is some sort of white metal which has engine turning detail and then gilt finish applied to the other open areas The lovely amber coloured parts look to be Blonde T shell which was commonalty used on luxury items like this (as it moulds when heated and was used like an early plastic)There are some chips in a few places and a split to the handle see photos (all reasonable considering their age)The vision is good but there is dust insides (should be possible to have cleaned if you know what you are doing) Very rare to find and in good condition with original draw string bag
