Celestron Telescopes – exact model unknown.
This was my late father in laws & unfortunately we have nothing to indicate what model it is…..he had it for some years & loved watching the sky at night & following space travel as it developed…. All we know is that as a man who loved to indulge his hobby, it is unlikely to have been a cheap model! If you can accurately identify it, please let me know! He used to have us all study the moon & it’s climate/contours & the ‘picture’ quality is (in the right hands), superb.
As per photos, the telescope is mounted, complete & it good working order – unscratched & was regularly polished by him in his observatory. End lens is 4 inches thick & the overall length is 38 inches. As photographed, the unit has an overall height of 40 inches. It may well split down but we have preserved it as it was & that is how it is sold. Please note that on moving it from its place of pride in my late in-laws house, we caught the ‘top site’ & cracked the mounting NOT the lens itself. A replacement via eBay is not expensive or as will be supplied with sale, the original I am sure can be repaired. Comes with lens cover & extras as shown.

ADDED 1812hrs 14/06 – Am happy to send by courier at buyers risk & expense (tba). I would guess likely cost about 30 via DPD etc HOWEVER whilst we would pack as well as possible, such delivery has to be at buyer’s risk. Thank you for your interest.
