SKYMAX-127 SynScan AZ GOTO 127mm (5″) f/1500 Computerised MAKSUTOV-CASSEGRAIN Catadiotropic telescope with tripod and lots of eyepieces (free moon filter included).
In excellent once used condition, bought for my young child who, once they saw the planets (Jupiter / Saturn) and the Moon, was done with it. Lack of interest so has been fully boxed and wrapped in original sleeves since.
Description:
The exciting Sky-Watcher SynScan AZ Computerised GoTo telescopes will allow you to easily find and track night sky treasures, such as Planets, Nebulae, Star Clusters, Galaxies and much more.
The Large aperture 127mm Maksutov optics on a fully computerised mount offer accurate goto technology in a complete ready to use system. The SynScan AZ hand control allows you point your telescope automatically at a specific object, or even tour the night sky at the touch of a button!! The user-friendly menu system allows automatic slewing to over 42,900+ night sky objects. Even an inexperienced astronomer can master its variety of features in a few observing sessions. The Skymax-127 is a larger version of the Skymax-102 providing a massive 55% more light-gathering power, and packing an even more powerful punch than its smaller cousin for medium-to-high-power work.
Offering views of the Planets that rival that of ultra expensive Apo refractors this instrument really is for many the ultimate in portable quality optics. The long (1500mm) focal length allows the Skymax 127 to provide high magnification with standard and Barlow eyepieces.
