I HAVE FOR SALE THIS VERY WELL USED LARGE EARLY TO MID 19th CENTURY M.E.SOLOMONS ”DUBLIN” TELESCOPE FOR RESTORATION…..This large telescope measures 1250mm extended and 1150mm closed and 80mm diameter….The rack and pinion operates OK….The two threaded cradle location pins are still in place but one is bent….The leather cladding is in rough condition…The optics are reasonably clear but require a good clean….The main problem is that the eyepiece is not attached to the focusing tube…???,,,The eye piece is in great condition…..It also looks like there was at one time a number of attachments located on the main tube as there are some holes to be seen…..
