This item is in good condition with a few upgrades Ive made to make life easier.The optics obviously cannot be perfect (its not straight out of the factory). There is the usual accumulated dust and the odd tiny blemish from normal use, but nothing major and nothing to detract from normal observing.The tripod is good and sturdy, a couple of screws at the bottom are a little bit rusty but could be cleaned up and painted or replaced, apart from that its all good.
Only selling as Ive upgraded to bigger telescopes and it no longer gets used.
This is the biggest of the SE range that can be used in EQ mode as well as Alt/AzIt can be run on eight AA batteries or a standard power tank (neither are included).It can also be used in Alt/Az mode on a tabletop without the tripod.

I have made some mods to make life easier:
1)Stuck a couple of bubble levels on the eyepiece tray in order to quickly level the mount.2)Put some white tipp-ex marks to line the mount with the tripod legs the same every time.3)When setting up for EQ mode there is a tipp-ex mark for angling the scope upright and tape on the angle riser for 524)Ive added some Velcro on the dust cap to stop it falling off, theyre never that tight.
