Skywatcher Skymax 180 Pro Maksutov Telescope OTA fitted Tube rings with accessories
This is my Skymax 180 PRO optical tube assembly with some extra accessories and upgrades
The telescope is an optical tube assembly and you will require a mount to use it.
Its been upgraded to tube rings which helps eliminate wobble when focusing.
Tube is in excellent used condition.
The dovetail bar does have cosmetic scratches from the old mount I used to use with it.
Complete with Astrozap heated dew shield, Bahtinov focus mask and solar film filter.
The Astrozap heated shield will require a heater controller but does work fine on mild evenings without one. These telescopes are not useable without a dew shield.
Also included is the original 9mm, 20mm eyepieces, 9x50mm finderscope and 2 inch star diagonal.
The star diagonal has an extra aluminium sleeve which was used for a dew strap (not supplied and not required)
Included is a simple storage box which was never designed to ship the telescope in, but I will make sure its well packed and as safe as possible.
The collimation on this tube is perfect and Ive never needed to adjust it. Even after upgrading to tube rings. Hopefully it will stay like this when shipped.
