Having a clear out of “too many binoculars” I have collected over the yearsUSED CLASSIC OPTICRON 8X42 DIOPTRON BINOCULARSA quality feel to these Japanese binoculars, lightweight (595grams) for their size.In overall good used condition with padded leather-type case.
Lovely clear wide 6.3 degree field of view. Pin-sharp opticsA small amount of paint-rub from use. One rubber eyecup shows signs of small glue repair on the fold line (see photo). Smooth focus and right eyepiece adjustment, no haze, dust or fungus, good alignment, deep blue multi-coatings all intact, complete with lanyard/rubber pad and single piece eyepiece rain cover. These have only ever been used carefully indoors, still have original factory inspection sticker and silica gel pack to keep them dry in storage.Unfortunately the case is missing the shoulder strap and I can only find one objective lens cover.Will be carefully bubble-wrapped, boxed and dispatched Royal Mail 2nd class signed-for.
