A pair of antique Opera Glasses or Binoculars with a black finish and barrels covered in black leather. They are marked on each eyepiece Negretti & Zambra London and come in their original fitted case, which is Gilt marked on the inside of its cover – NEGRETTI & ZAMBRA, LONDON – OPTICIANS TO HER MAJESTY. It also shows Gold medals awarded at the 1851 and 1862 exhibitions – Their objective and ocular lenses measure 29 mm and 13 mm wide and they measure 63 mm retracted and 79 mm extended.
