This is very fine optically, with a field of c.150mils. I have compared the view through this to a Delactis & I find this to be at least as good & sharper at the edges of the field! It is of similar weight to the Zeiss Delactem i.e.c.2.5lbs, but fear it is spuriously engraved as “Zeiss”. This is a great shame because, as a repairer has confirmed, this is optically of very high quality & the maker deserves to have his own name in place to be appreciated for the fineness of his work. My view is that the maker is Fournier or Huet.
I have put a very low price for quick sale, so grab a New Year bargain!
