FOR SALE – FIVE AND A HALF INCH DIAMETER REFELCTING AMATEUR ASTRONOMER TELESCOPE WITH HANDY MOTOR TO TRACK THE OBJECTS YOU WANT TO OBSERVE IN THE NIGHT SKY.
This sturdy 1995 Russian made telescope cost 300 new and has been a lot of fun to use. Since we are moving house it must find a new home. As you can see from the photos it is in good condition and comes with :-a powerpack to drive the motor, which has 2m of cable form the mains plug to the powerpack and a generous 10m of cable from the powerpack to the telescope motor.traditional camera mount6 different filtersx3 eyepiece multiplierextra F25mm eyepiece lens,0.5 A spare fuse for the powerpackscrewdriver for the adjustment screws
Weight 18.6 kg (without it’s box); stands approx 4ft 6in high when assembled; length 33 inches.
ALSO AVAILABLE – a custom made foam-lined flight case at an ADDITIONAL cost of 150. As you will notice from the photos, the box contains a tray with compartments into which the disassembled telescope fits nicely. The box’s outer dimensions are: length 36″; width 18″; height 19″. WHY COLLECTION RATHER THAN POST? This is an item that really needs to be collected by you – especially if you don’t want the protective storage box. I think it would only get broken if I tried to ship it without its’ box. The cost of shipping it in its’ box is going to be far too expensive.
