These 10×50 binoculars have superb optics and are well engineered. They are in virtually un-used condition as you can see from the pictures and condition of straps.
I have looked through them from all angles and ends and cannot find any signs of fungus,dust,scratches or internal damage. Outside is the same with no paint loss.
The case is similarly virtually un-used.
I doubt you will find a better pair at this start price.
There are non German DDR 10×50 Carl Zeiss Jenoptem on the marketwhich look identical (check ‘fake 10×50 Carl Zeiss’) but they only have 6 serial numbers, the screws on the top are further from the engraving and focusing wheel is plastic.
