What does the ‘-‘ mean in Mint-?
-Two things. Some cosmetic marks on the barrels as you’d expect—I’ve tried to exaggerate this in the image. Secondly, while experimenting with the eyecups in order to scrounge an extra mm or so of eye relief, I removed the adhesive film that fixes the rubber lining to the plastic body of the eyecups. This in no way affects the security of the rubber lining, actually it affects absolutely nothing at all. But I thought I’d mention it for honesty’s sake.
Why are you selling?
-I’m only a recreational nature watcher and I can’t justify them. That really is the answer! The money’s going towards a trick pair of hifi speakers. My Opticron bins are good enough for me.
Are these SFs optically as new?
-Yes.
Are they structurally (hinge, eyecup stops, focus wheel) as new?
-Yes.
Box, case, strap, manual, rainguard, caps etc. all present?
-Yes.
How old?
-Six months.
