In perfect condition, totallymint, original, boxed, unmarked and never used. It comes boxed with alloriginal paperwork and accessories, tough neck strap, rain guard, objectivecovers etc. It gives a good sharp image,as you would expect, but like the EDF / NVA it has a very definite yellow tint, the yellowtint is because the EDF used a radiation resistant glass called SF3R for theobjective negative element and the first eyepiece lens which leads to thecolour bias. It is built like a tank, heavy at 980g, the FOV is 131m@1000m,there is a lot of data in the booklet, but all in German, I think it say’s eyerelief is 20mm. This binocular would have been made in the mid 80s, beforeGerman reunification, after which Docter Optik took over later production.Anyone looking at this binocular will probably know that this original CZJCivilian version is rare and a collectors item, and it is also interesting thatCZJ sold to the West, during the cold war, this binocular, which wasessentially the general issue optics for the East German army, with their usualwarranty card in English.
