Zeiss, renowned for high build quality and top end performance which both contribute to their excellent reputation.
This example is in mint- condition with minimal signs of use.
I had the scope and lens checked over at the Bird Fair August (2016) and it was noted that the Ocular lens seemed to be showing some…spotting. It was recommended that I should return same for further inspection. I contacted the local area representative and the Lens was returned to Zeiss in Germany in October this year.
I received a new lens complete in late November..the delay was of my making not Zeiss.so you have a brand new Lens with the scope. It pays to buy the best!!. The cost of the Lens alone is over 400.00. It has the Zeiss neoprene cover as shown in the photos and both Lens covers. I also include the Foot Plate for my Manfrotto Carbon Fibre Tri Pod, plus spares as shown.
This model is the last just before the models available now and the cost now is in excess of 2500 and according to all reports the new model is not as good as this model.
