WWII Carl Zeiss Jena 7×50 Binoculars with original case. In excellent condition for the age. Very rare piece. Kriegsmarine Binoculars7 x 50 models with ‘arrangement for use with gas mask’. The special ocular construction of this glass is recognizable by the hard rubber ocular covering, attached to sliding rings. Eye relief is longer in this model. The Zeiss 7 x 50 models with gas mask oculars were also used for anti-aircraft defense, and perhaps by the Navy. Surviving models are marked ‘M IV/1’ and ‘T’Svastika symbol scratched but easily recognisable.
