Pair of US Army issue prismatic No.5 7×50 binoculars. Maker marked for the Optical & Film Supply Co, and broad arrow marked. Undated, but appear to be WW2 era. The central bridge action and diopters do move, but are stiff, so require some lubrication. The optics are free from internal chips and major scratches. There is some internal dust, cloudiness and fungal threading, so they would benefit from an internal clean. There appears to be a bit of lens separation to the outer ring of the objective lenses, and some to the viewing lenses, as per the photos. The image is free from double vision, but the lens separation to the viewing optics does give some blurriness and distortion. They have some cosmetic dust and wear commensurate with age. They have a strap fitted, but have no case.
