If You would like this item bid on it now as like me you may forget to come back and miss out on a fine item!!!Original Vintage WW1 PeriodGermany Army Field GlassesSerial number 29421Made ByE.Leitz WetzlerGermanyMarch 1916A good pair of German binoculars or field glasses of brass and alloy construction. Marked by the makers E. Leitz Wetzlar Fernglas 08 Serial number 29421 and 111 16 for production March 1916. In good condition for age and use, returning clear imaging through undamaged lenses, the individual eye focus rings operate well and correctly. Much of the original field grey paint is still present as is the leather lanyard. The leather case has suffered a little and the lid is detached. The case is marked to the front “S.S. 7th S.R.
