I have several sets of Binoculars on at present – I am not a Binocular expert or Binocular dealer – If there is dirt or Fungus inside visible I will mention it as with chipped damaged lenses.I do not strip / clean or tamper with binoculars so all are described based upon visual examination I do not pay for optics to be cleaned once received ( which I have been asked to do in past)

WW1 period German made Goerz 8x Heli-Trieder binoculars – serial no.260812 Must be 100+ years old – look WW1 era or earlier.WORN CONDITIONPaint worn – Brass exposed Brass eye cups by look of itLeather grips wornNeck strap missing Serial no. on base – 260812 over 9 ( or 6 – could be separate number) I had to expose paint on base centre hinge to find number.NEED CLEANING – filled with much and fungus .Small chip to inner lens on left sideHazy in use due to internal muck however must have been superb when new as still quite powerful .Eye focus – left a little tight but rotates , right is spinning – not sure it is doing anything.Base nut is damaged as shown.The Brass end caps are dinged .End lenses have some scratches.Pretty much as you would expect WW1 / 100 year old item to look .SOLD FOR SPARES / REPAIR ONLY Look great polished
