                            CARL ZEISS WESTGERMAN 8 X 50B  BINOCULARS                       ============================================ Excellentpair of 8 x 50B Carl Zeiss West German Oberkochen binoculars complete withthe originalcaseand strap which are in excellent condition plus a replacement black leatherlanyard. Theserial number is 855773 and cosmetically they appear to be virtually newdespite the objective rimswhichhave been re- lacquered and now look fine. These 50 mm porro prism binocularsdid representthebest glass made for the civilian market at that time and was also suitable forthe eye glass wearer.. Opticallythey are  superb  just had a full service at The BinocularRepair Co Glasgow,  who havebroughtthese binoculars back to the original performance which is outstanding. Theimage produced isbright and clearpin sharp and all lenses are in exceptional conditionno lossof coatings and nodamagewhatsoever to the optics.   All focusingfunctions are smooth and positive and the collimationisperfect .
