The Visionary V-1 8.5×42

**NOTE** At 1050g these are not lightweight. I repeat, they are not lightweight.

But what they are is extremely well put together with a solid and sturdy construction

The 8.5x magnification is a great all round choice for a multitude of uses. 

Fully multi-coated optics, high quality BaK-4 prisms and nice blackened optical internal 

edges and baffling gives stunning colours and contrast.

The wide 7.1 degrees field of view makes for tracking moving targets very easy. 

A nice flat field gives minimal drop off in quality towards the edges

Eye cups are twist type. Although eye relief is not quoted, I would estimate at approx 20mm

Leave the eye cups twisted in if using spectacles

Handling is excellent with a secure rubber grip and a large focus wheel and dioptre adjustment 

that can both be used with gloves on

Nitrogen waterproof for use in all conditions

Ideal for many uses from birdwatching, plane spotting, low light observing and wide field astronomy to name a few

Warranty is 2 years parts and labour against manufacturing defects.

Followed by 8 years parts only
