BARR AND STROUD 7×50 CF41 WORLD WAR 2 ISSUE NAVAL BINOCULARSThese binoculars are sold ‘as found’, they will need a general overhaul. They carry fittings which would allow for nitrogen filling and incorporate filters for various light conditions.
The binoculars are fully marked with three Ministry of Defence arrows. Yellow stamped broad arrow on front of both barrels and on right barrel with A.P No 1900A and Serial No 66758. Left barrel Barr & Stroud 7X CF41 Glasgow and London. Both barrels have Nitrogen ports marked B and C. British Patent No 4440 /1940 (Left) 435220 / 1934 (Right). A pair of leather eye caps are attached to the neck strap (photo 1).Condition: The left barrel has no vision, the right is cloudy. The filter levers are both stiff to use. Sold as a restoration project rather than for use. The strap to the carry case will need attention.NO RETURNS
