A very rare A L vincent & co telescope . made for the London transport rifle club.
solid brass with leather cover
all working in good condition
vary rare scope with connection to a rare club . unique bit of history still very usable today
Pre WWII there was a small arms range underground beneath Baker Street Tube Station, it belonged to the London Transport Shooting Club. During WWII it was used by SOE as a practice range, Violet Szabo was among the people who used it regularly. I have tried to gain more information but no-one in LT today seems to know much about it.
