VINTAGE HERTEL & REUSS LIGHTWEIGHT OPTIK KASSEL SEPTETTE 7×25 MILITARY SPOTTER BINOCULARS.
Serial No. 36412 – circa 1940’s
This is a lovely set of German made small/compact lightweight spotter binoculars. Probably Army issue. They are in very good condition with sharp, clear lenses and are in excellent working order. There is just a small amount of tarnish on the lens hinge hub but other than that they are virtually in perfect condition. They come with their original leather case which is also in excellent condition. Both the case and binoculars have their original neck straps. There are also matching name tags neatly sewn into the case and on the binocular neck strap.
I seriously doubt if you would find a better set than these, they have had a very easy life with hardly any wear what so ever.
