Description:

A Vintage German Made Hertel and Reuss Optik 25 – 60 x 60 Tele-Variabel Aluminium Bodied Single Draw Spotting Scope / Telescope.The Lenses including the internal ones are all present.

With a small scratch to the Objective Lens, and a little internal dust, all as shown clearly, the Dust is visible in use but is very slight and has no detrimental effect on the overall view, the scratch is not visible in use.

All Lenses are chip, crack and major damage free. As to be expected with German Made Optics this is a top quality piece, it is VERY powerful and works extremely well giving a sharp and bright image in use.It has the facility for attachment to a Stand or Tripod in the form of a 1/4 and a 5/16 Inch Threaded Recess as shown, the Threads look to be clean and undamaged.Overall in good order with some cosmetic signs of age and use but with no cracks, splits, major damage or dents to the Body and with no structural issues.The Single Draw moves firmly / smoothly and with only a little sideways movement when extended. The Focusing Collar turns freely and works very well, as does the fine adjustment Eyepiece, this Scope will focus easily and precisely.The variable 25 – 60 x Slide again works smoothly moving in and out with a twisting action, it has no problems or issues. Both Ends are sound, the extending Sunshade is a good firm fit, it moves firmly / smoothly and will stay in position of its own accord.

The Leather Case has a broken Hinge but is otherwise intact and serviceable.
