Nice vintage pair of German binoculars.

Body appears to be in good cosmetic condition.

Optics – glass has no scratches but both barrels have some fungus spots and a little bit of misting, which is of no surprise given their age. In fact, somebody with the correct tools will probably be able to open-up the optics and clean them with lens cleaning solution in order to restore the optics back to full health.

However, the view from them is lovely, clear and sharp given the quality of the optics. A real joy to look through them. I’m sure somebody will enjoy them.

Focussing dial is a little bit stiff on its extreme and the spindle that allows for the binoculars to move up and down is working fine but once again, a little stiff. The eye focussing on the right eye works fine and is not stiff.

Has leather strap attached to the binoculars, which looks to be fine. 

Also comes with its original tan leather case with red felt lining. The case has a little split on the front and signs of wear on the top, but nothing too serious. Has a shoulder strap attached to it, which looks fine.

The binoculars come with both front and rear plastic lens caps, which you can see in the photos.
