Hi,
Up for sale are these, Carl Zeiss Dekarem 10×50 Binoculars. They are Q1 quality stamped.
They are also stamped “made in DDR”The serial number of these is: 3796410
The Binoculars come with their original leather strap and original carry case with leather strap.
These have been stored for a while and I have used them today to check the viewing clarity and ensure the optics are OK.
I have to say I was really impressed with the quality of the viewed images.
They appear to function fine with no issues, although the outer case of the Binoculars show sign of the paint being removed there is no damage to the body though.
I have not attempted to clean any internals, I would leave this to an expert, my perception is that the internals are clean anyway.
The focus is smooth and operating fine.
A lovely vintage pair of Binoculars used as they were intended, but cared for at the same time.
I will wrap and post these carefully via UPS courier, usually next day delivery.
