This old pair of brass binoculars are in working condition.
The focus mechanism expands though is a little stiff. The adjustment collar would appear to be made of wood and despite a fine hairline crack still works to expand and retract the three sections of the lens.
There are brass rings surrounding the larger part of the lens that can be extended to reduce glare.
The leather case is included though the leather strap has frayed and broken as a result of drying with age.
There is a bend in one of the eyepiece surroundings from what most likely was a result of being dropped at some point in its life.
The case itself would appear to be in good condition.
It’s dimensions are as follows
Width across the front to lenses 12 cm width across the back two is 9.5 cm. Length retracted is 12.5cm Length extended is 17 cm
A great collectors piece that can still be used today
