These binoculars,5’5″ long(closed) and,7″ long extended,have,” J.H.Steward” embossed around the left eyepiece and,”7,Gracechurch St. London” around the other.There is also a small plate between the eyepieces on which is stamped,” The Official Bisley”(shooting connection?) together with a couple of sets of interlocking letters(?).They are covered with leather which is in extremely good condition although rubbed on the lower sections which slide forward,presumably to shade the lenses.The larger part of the original leather case is also in good condition but carrying strap guides and buckle have been removed (missing)and the lid has come detached.Fair to say,the lid is not in good condition.Please scan our pics closely and feel free to ask any relevant questions.
