A pair of vintage binoculars from the late 19th or early 20th century, very nicely finished in polished metal and leather, which has a cross-hatching design. There are no maker’s marks.
They have some minor age related useage marks but otherwise are in a good, clean condition. The lenses are good and clear without any age-related fogging. The focusing mechanism works and there’s a scale on the central shaft showing, what I assume is, levels of magnification with ranges from 2 to 10 in steps of 2.
