This vintage ASAHI PENTAX telescope with tripod and case is for spares, repair or for use as a prop or decorators piece.
Unfortunately one of the glass prisms has a chunk missing.
The sturdy wood case is missing some of it’s veneer in places and has numerous marks/scratches. One of the locking clasps is incomplete.

By far the vast majority of my sales result in smooth transactions with highly satisfied buyers. The following terms and conditions are stated as insurance against the tiny minority of buyers who seek to abuse the eBay system.
New eBayers with a feedback score of 5 or less MUST contact me before placing a bid. In doing so please supply your name, address, email address, and a telephone number. I reserve the right to cancel bids, or refuse to sell to new eBayers who do not comply with this straightforward request.
Please pay within 4 days of auction end. After this time eBay will automatically open an Unpaid Item case on my behalf.
I aim to dispatch within 1 working day of receiving cleared payment, and have a good track record in doing so. However, this is only valid for those buyers who pay promptly within 24 hours of auction end. If you delay in making payment then your shipment may also be delayed, as I am not a full-time seller.
I always obtain proof of posting. I cannot under ANY circumstances be held responsible for loss or damage whilst in transit. I will not pursue any claims for damage or non-delivery, unless you pay for a trackable delivery service at checkout (requiring signature upon receipt).
The UK postal service is generally reliable – however, if you decline to insure your parcel then please be aware that in doing so you are also declining financial compensation should your package go missing or arrive in a damaged condition -no exceptions. It is your own responsibility to ensure that you purchase adequate postal insurance to suit your personal preference, subject to the following minimum requirements.
Please note that Royal Mail Standard First & Second Class services include compensation of up to 20 only. In these circumstances, should your item go missing or become damaged en-route then it will be YOUR responsibility to make a claim with Royal Mail. I will provide a COPY of the original Certificate of Posting by email… the rest will be up to you… no exceptions.
If your winning bid is between 20 and 50 then you MUST select a Confirmed or Guaranteed service at checkout, such as Royal Mail Signed For/Special Delivery, or courier (e.g. Parcelforce).
If your winning bid is 50 or more then shipping will be STRICTLY by insured courier ONLY (e.g. Royal Mail Special Delivery, Parcelforce express)
If you overlook any of the above points during eBay checkout then I may refund your initial payment and/or send a fresh or additional invoice for the balance due, at my discretion. I will not dispatch your item until I have been reimbursed for sufficient postal insurance as necessary.

Postage costs include packaging and travel to Post Office.
