Carl Zeiss Jena Feldstecher 8 Fach Vintage Binoculars – Serial number 019466
Very rare binoculars built before the Great War around 1902 to 1904. Probably used by a German serviceman.
In good working order and excellent cosmetic condition but with some fungus inside the right lens and several small dust particles in the left lens – see photos.
They appear to work well and when using them all that is visible to the eyes of the user is the largest of the small dust particles in the left hand lens.
I have been told that they could be dismantled and cleaned by an enthusiast.
Complete with original leather case.
