Full Setup – perfect for imaging and visual. NEQ6 BELT MODDED with extra counterweight, 250PDS and eyepieces and more

My Son is off to University in September to study Astrophysics,so no longer requires his kit and is therefore selling up. 

All the equipment has been stored in our shed / his observatory since he bought it so all in great condition. He bought the 250PDS new however the NEQ6 was second hand. This scope really is a great piece of kit as it’s fast (great for imaging), and being a 10″ it’s also great for visual. 

The NEQ6 was belt modded by Graham over at AstroTec and he has done a superb job. It comes with the standard tripod, extra counterweight, PSU, but NO HANDSET, though these can be picked up for 50 on ABS however unnecessary when using an EQMOD cable which can be bought for around 5 on the net. 

Off the top of my head extras include:

Celestron XCel 9mm
Vixen 4mm – can’t remember the model but he got it for 70 second hand. Will confirm shortly
ADM vixen side-by-side bar in great condition with 11″ of separation
QHY5 mono bought from modern astronomy this time last year (refurbed) with finder scope adapter (9×50) 
Dew strap for 80mm scope (used for my old scope so surplus) and controller
