Welcome to this auction for two rather old and interesting pairs ofbinoculars. The bigger pair have embossed into the top of their leather case BINO. PRISM. NO.5 CASE MK. 1 O.S. 997above the handle and P1 below it. Thislarger pair focuses as it should with the right eye and is clear but the left(though the focus seems to work) has some black marking in what I would guessis on one of the lenses inside the binocular. I am not willing to takesomething this old apart out of interest but always like to point outimperfections.The case is about 9 tall and with their case these binoculars weigh1.92kg. There is some writing on the front of the binoculars which looks to melike it says GRATICULES degree APARTAND degree degree AND 1 degree HIGH OS735CA on one side and BINO PRISM No.5 MK X7 No. 52150 on theother. My eyes arent what they were, thats what I think it says – please seefor yourself too!The smaller pair only have 8X markedon them and I cant see any other indication of type or maker etc. They areheavy for their size, weighing 651g in their case which is about 5 tall.These function as they should.These binoculars are being sold as found. I know nothing about them andhope there is a collector or enthusiast out there who will enjoy these. Theyare being sold with no returns, please bear this in mind when bidding andplease ask any questions you have I will do my best to help.Delivery is by courier, not the post office (these will be VERY wellpackaged to avoid any kind of damage in transit).
