Telescope Meade ETX-125 PE UHTC with Autostar ‘Go To’ and Tripod ‘Delux’.

This is a great telescope that I have had in the cupboard for years and used very few times – like new. It has an electronic controller (same as the EC edition) and comes in the original box for transport and storage. It has a high quality tripod and comes with accessories needed to use the telescope, including the Meade eyepiece and a polarised filter.

It is of the brand Meade and is the Premier Edition (PE) of the series ETX-125, it is UHTC (Ultra High Transmission Coatings). When bought, the mirrors were finely aligned in a specialised shop for best quality image.

– Meade delux field tripod (for use with all ETX telescopes: altazimuth or equatorial mount)

Learning about the universe has never been so easy. With the ETX 125 PE, overcome the obstacle of simple and complicated calculations, and dive into the infinite beauty of the universe at the touch of a button. The rings of Saturn, the moons of Jupiter, the Orion Nebula, and even objects such as the M33 spiral galaxy are highlighted by simply pressing the GOTO button. 

Automatically follow the trajectories of satellites and comets at regular intervals. From a distance of 50 metres, study the structure of a bird’s wings, or observe the rings of Saturn 1.3 billion kilometres away.

The optical system used is the Maksutov-Cassegrain design. What is more, by using a main mirror made from Pyrex, with low thermal dispersion, and the UHTC coating (Ultra-High Transmission Coating), the ETX telescope delivers extremely high-contrast, sparkling images. You can take ETX telescopes with you on your travels, thanks to their compact size.
