T-adapter (also known as T-mount) for connecting DSLR cameras to telescopes and spotting scopes, using a correct T-ring of your own
– This adapter is suitable for Nipon 25-125×92 spotting scope, and it may also fit other scope models which have equivalent fitting dimensions and threads
This camera adapter is designed to connect various DSLR cameras to Nipon 25-125×92 spotting scope as well as other telescope models with compatible size and threads. This adapter has windows for the adjustment of scope zoom wheel while the camera is attached. You will need to have a correct T-ring for your camera make/model.
You connect one end of this adapter to the eyepiece base of the 25-125×92 scope, and connect a DSLR camera T-ring to the other end of this adapter. You can then attach your camera to the T-ring and take pictures through the scope.Note: A camera T-ring (also known as T2 mount) will be required for your camera model. Standard fitting for DSLR camera T-rings (some are available from this shop).Standard 42×0.75mm threads on both ends (one end with female threads for connecting to the scope’s eyepiece base, and the other end with male threads for camera T-ring connection).Can connect your camera to scopes for picture taking with or without the telescope eyepieces.Built with metal material.It allows zoom adjustment while the camera is attached.Internal tube diameter: 41mm (Note: this is the maximum eyepiece diameter that can fit into this adapter).
Note:
You can see a right side up image from the camera view finder when the telescope’s eyepiece is remained in its place.
The threads on the this adapter barrel are designed to fit a range of DSLR camera T-rings and telescope models, in addition to the 25-125×92 model. Sometimes the threads can be a little tight in connection with a certain type of telescopes, and adding some grease can help. There is no need to screw the barrel all the way in but the connection is secure.
