SWIFTwerethe top Japanese binocular brand available in the U.K. for several decades.Available from the best independent camera shops, binocular specialists,opticians, pharmacists and top department stores. The SWIFT SPand SPWA ranges appeared in the late 1980`s if I remember correctly, and wereavailable throughout the 1990`s. Swift Pyser and Swift Pyser Wide Angle modelswere relatively low volume sellers at least in the U.K. and are rare on thesecond hand market today. The AUDUBON HR5`s that shared the same strong butlight body design are much more common. Have no doubt though, all these relatedSWIFT binoculars are high quality porroprisms, offering great optical abilityand handling that arguably has not been bettered by comparable porroprisms inthe last 20 years.This SWIFTSPWA 10 x 42 NEWPORT is a very rare binocular and is in MINT CONDITION.Complete with its luxury case with straps, and SWIFT webbing neckstrap, allfour SWIFT branded lens caps and a new microfiber lens cloth. It featuresrubber fold down eyecups for spectacle wearers and a sprung loaded tripod mountin the lower hinge. This is an excellent handling high quality porroprism whichappears to be virtually un-used.
