Swift Audubon MkII Birding Binoculars 8.5×44 HR
A Swift Audubon MkII binocular in good-used condition. It, usefully, has a tripod mounting bush on the bottom.
The collimation is accurate and it has a very sharp image. There are some very small spots of internal fungus (either on internal elements or on the prisms) that are only obvious if one is looking for it, but this does not affect the image which is very, very, sharp. In our opinion, there is no point taking the binocular apart in order to clean this as it does not affect the image. We would rather search for minor faults and describe them rather than let the buyer discover them themselves – other eBay sellers may not be so fastidious.
It is supplied with its original case (not shown in the photos). The case has had some repairs (re-glued top and bottom).
It is not supplied with lens caps.
