For auction my late Fathers telescope.
Slight issue here is that I’m struggling to identify it exactly. I cannot find a manual, box, packaging or receipt and there is very little information on the telescope itself. I have taken a look at – https://www.green-witch.com/swarovski-atxstx-field-telescopes.htmlSo have a rough idea but am not 100% on the model and specifications. Feel free to get in touch and help out if you have some knowledge in this area.
Telescope is in almost new condition having spent its life on the manfrotto tripod in his top bedroom. He lived in Exmouth Devon and used this to look across the estuary. I know it was expensive – he always bought quality.
I took a lot of photos so hopefully you can glean the information you need.
Details I know are –
It’s about 4-5 years old It says 20-60x S on the black ring beneath the eyepiece Above that it says 20x 40x 60x (see photos)It’s greenThe eyepiece is angledAll lens caps are Swarovski brandedThe tripod is Manfrotto, feels quality and folds down nicely. The manual and strap are present and state classic deluxe/ wilderness tripod – tracker tripod.
My plan is to auction this in the hope that someone can make good use of it and that I can buy my son a new laptop for school as well as make a donation to the Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF)
